How does a biomass boiler work?
Biomass boilers burn wood chips, pellets and logs to provide central heating and hot water. Incredibly energy efficient, these boilers are low maintenance and can be fully automated. The fuel is often cheaper and because they’re considered a more eco-friendly option, they’re also eligible for funding via government grant schemes. To find out more about upgrading to a brand new biomass boiler, contact Eco Subs and see how much money you could get towards installation.
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS)
The main aims of the BUS are to reduce the UK’s reliance on fossil fuels and to reduce harmful emissions. As biomass boiler can help you do both, you can receive up to £5000 towards the cost of installation. This is available for rural properties with no mains gas supply, and if you receive benefits and/or income support, there may be additional help and support available. Make sure you don’t miss out. Fill out the form to see what you can claim.
